Finding Treasures
When someone writes or talks about a treasure hunt, you may be speaking in either of two ways:
The romantic metaphorically speaking, giving this value to some aspect of his life, and others who talk about a treasure hunt in the literal sense, which can be read as totally unrealistic, but nevertheless enjoys full feasibility believe it or not.
Let me talk that my professional activity performed very closely with a trial lawyer, without implying that your server is dedicated to a career in law, but I refer to this aspect because it represents the beginning of the central part of this article , which aims to document the literal search for treasure.
My lawyer friend, he partnered with another lawyer in a neighboring town to work together in partnership and address cases where both parties benefit. The new member of friend, defending a peasant who had been affected work, allowing him to get to know this person's life than resorting to the search for a topic of conversation, he referred to his knowledge of an ancient legend that spoke the existence of an ancient treasure hidden in the case of an estate left in their community.
The new partner of my friend, unaware that his counterpart had invested much time and money in search of treasure, what the peasant talked entrusted to him, so the destination immediately placed on the table the two variables needed to develop the search a treasure: a) The existence of a legend that spoke of the existence of a hidden treasure and b) the experience and technology is my friend, which enabled professionally began searching for a treasure.
My lawyer friend, your partner also a lawyer, the peasant owner of the legend, and a server as aggregate culture, decided to start searching for the treasure-sharing agreement in the event that this were found.
Here we report the experience of seeking and finding a hidden treasure that had more than one hundred years.
In order to keep confidential the names and places, to protect those involved in this real fact, omit to name the people who participated in these events, which I hope that does not detract in any moment the credibility of what counted here.
One day Wednesday, the lawyers had to meet together in the peasant community, for the sufficiency of evidence regarding the latter case, decided to schedule the treasure hunt at the end of the coach above.
We set out to address the 4 x 4 vehicle detectors filled with treasures, digging tools, jackets, water, gas masks, cigarettes, hats and anything else that my friend saw fit to support the work.
The farmer was leading us to dirt roads, apparently little traveled by the poor condition they were. We drove hard for two hours, while the Lord told us in detail the origin and details of the mysterious story that his grandparents had told him about the existence of a great treasure hidden in the case of the estate. I have to confess that due to the low cultural level of the farmer, his little vocabulary and the place where we traveled, it seemed unlikely that we recounted the story and indeed the actual existence of a buried treasure, so without saying so, I kept this feeling in my mind, without question that the q listened. On the other hand, saw the faces of my classmates and sensed a feeling similar to mine, however, it was clear to leave the road at this time was no longer an option.
We arrived to the case of the estate, which was a good first step of credibility, because a server doubted that we would find even a building in that area away from everything.
My friend, the expert, fell from his truck, armed with the detection equipment, and in a mood to terminate all of the fastest way possible, we asked the other that we remain close to the vehicle while he displayed his technology.
While my friend was moving away from us, we were chatting about unrelated topics, joking and admiring the landscape, to be noted was very attractive.
My friend made a sweep around the construction area and returned to us without making any comment on the results that had thrown the apparatus, when a desperation we all lived to know his fatwa, but my friend called me and asked me performing the same activity that moments before had played, with the aim to corroborate the fact, that at this time was still a great unknown. I instructed the management team gave me precise instructions from the search site and asked me not to say anything until the end.
By then, I already had a version of the site by the farmer. The building was an old barn built of stone and lime, with a very wide walls and vaulted ceiling. Opposite the entrance of the building had a kind of well-finished stone corral, which consisted of a circular wall five feet high with a single entry. According to the farmer, the burial would be located within this space at some point perhaps served to raise livestock.
Following exactly the instructions, I did a scan crossing a triangle around the building. The sensor marked with a sign of great strength gold hidden in a wall of the building, which the expert comment after my commission. My friend told me that he had effectively marked the same and in the same place.
Leaving the computer in the van and headed to the wall marked by the devices. When we began to scrutinize them immediately had to run because the place was located in a honeycomb, that our presence felt immediately caused a cloud of insects defending their territory.
The first thing we had to solve before you even think about digging a hole or make the walls, was to obtain the owner's permission to do so. Then we had to carefully address the topic of bees, for which we were not prepared, so we had to leave the place, even if the farmer insisted that it was time to dig.
After a few months in office with the owner of the place, got permission to dig, with a formal commitment to stop building in the same state it was. Curiously, the owner, an elderly gentleman, to learn that our purpose was to unearth a treasure trove of course on your property, all we asked is that the damage was repaired, which will let you know what we had found and blessings. External to us he was a man alone, waiting to die in the short term, therefore had no desire to participate in the distribution of treasure, only asked us to inform him and advised us to find what they supposedly wanted, we were honest, fair, humble and grateful, because "money is the devil" and left us this clear warning about what might cause the greed and selfishness in our lives.
The following weekend we got the permission, we equip the four original participants to begin the search.
Honeycomb removed the smoke, which was a work of a day, and once this obstacle and escaped before a new sample with the team proceeded to dig in the wall where the signal was identified.
We removed a few stones that made up the wall and found a small leather bag filled with soil and some moisture, about to fall apart, which aroused in all a great mood and a great curiosity. Had made it!, We found a hidden treasure.
Inside the bag, guarding two small gold coins of $ 20 pesos dated 1920. He was a small gold cross somewhat battered by use, which weighed approximately 4 grams. The most important thing is that in the pocket we found a note written in a old, very battered on a piece of paper that read stale the following:
Shelter: These coins hid them the day I had to leave for the north, left here for anyone found them until the eve of the peace, Don Rufino de la Hacienda Grande you can pay the fine grain pa 'animals and blankets, Ancina ask the Lord to fill you with blessings.
Juvencio
To read the note had to be a series of consultations with people used to read such a letter, and making findings of some words that predated other, since the document was very add over the years.
We try to locate the nearby residents, the whereabouts of "Shelter" or a family member, to fulfill the desire of the former owner of the treasure, but no one could truthfully report the whereabouts of this person, especially when we learned that the town had a history of three people who carried this name alive, but none of them was related to the only person named Juvencio. The only person alive Juvencio Martinez Ruiz was called, was a laborer who worked for the Treasury and died at the age of 23 years from a disease related to tuberculosis, who was the son of Philemon Martinez and Rosendo Ruiz, who never had any relationship with women named Refuge. We do not know if this young man to his young age and social status, could have been the owner of what was then considered a large amount of money.
Considering that the treasure found not permanently solve our economic situation, we decided to keep the coins and pay the farmer the amount that would have been distributed among the four participants, but the experience leaves us all an indescribable feeling of adventure and wonder, to be witness the actual finding a little treasure hidden in time.
