Are you there?

Meditation is to be focused, alert, fully present in the here-now.

The mind is always moving, going from one side to another, is in the future or the past, but never is anchored in the present moment. It looks much like a radio: you do not know the silence, stillness, which gives the blessing to be in the now.

Meditation is increasingly necessary. The anxiety, uncertainty, chaos currently reigning everywhere are a perfect food for the mind, then panics.

Know how to meditate is also important to feel truly alive, to enjoy every moment with intensity. Life is always now, it's always here at this very moment, and in the right place. And as the mind gets involved in what has already been or what did not, life goes on without most of the time can really appreciate.

We lose so much to not be present in the moment!

This is not to fight the mind, for the thoughts thus become stronger. Nor is the judge, criticize, or even try to change it. This is simply to observe. As you look at the clouds that glide through the sky, just as we observe the thoughts without being swept away by them.

Fortunately now there is available a lot of meditation techniques. Today I learned I share a girl with Osho, and that really helped me in my beginnings in the path of meditation.

At any time of day, and several times throughout the day, you call yourself by your name out loud: "Harriet, are you there?"

It works wonders. It's like if you woke up in the act of drowsiness that generates the mind, and then back to appreciate what is happening or whether you are doing at that time. Cease to operate on "automatic pilot" and again to feel alive, alert and connected.

Besides being effective, it's fun! And it helps to remember is you who must take care, love and dedicate themselves to be in harmony.

If you fear that those around you think you crazy, just do the same but in a low voice. It works the same way, and every time you do you will notice that there are no problems, but only to resolve situations. And then you begin to experience confidence, tranquility and peace.

If you have never meditated yet, start helping yourself to be rooted in life, to be rooted in reality, to live each moment with intensity and fullness.
