How to create a blog

There are many ways to create a blog.

Some are as simple as creating a blog on a service like Blogger. The problem is that spammers are well aware. Which means that Blogger has to be very aggressive when you decide if a blog is for real or not. If you're not careful, you could find yourself logged in to update your blog and find out who was accused of being spam, and is no longer visible to the rest of the world.

Ouch.

Especially if you're counting on your blog for a bit 'of your income.

It 'sa bit more effort (though not much more) to set up a blog on your own hosting. With his rule, rather than being part of someone else's site.

But it's worth the effort.

With your blog, you are master of your destiny.

Most hosts have only one click to install Wordpress. So it's pretty easy to get a basic blog up and running.

After that, it's maybe 20 or 30 minutes of work to change it so that it does not look like thousands of other Wordpress blogs out there.

Make sure you implement some kind of interceptor comment spam (Akismet works well, although you need to go through a simple circle).

Choose a new theme so that your blog does not seem completely "straight out of the box".

Then you're ready to publish your views to the whole world!

Post a comment, after making sure that your blog will notify the host of blog search engines. It does this by "pinging" them. That is just a little 'computer to computer like a radar bleep. A ping tells the search engines blogs that have added new content. They are excited by this (the computers are so smart, I am!) And index the new content. And this is the beginning to publicize your new blog .......
