541S Jensen British Classic Car

There are many old cars that made history. Car enthusiasts contain some brands and models of cars particularly high. There are some models that all have heard, though not in the car. Still, there are also those that are lost somewhere along the way. The Jensen 541S is a classic English car. It is not as popular as many others but just as rich a history as any other. Maybe there is not enough general coverage of these beautiful old vehicles, but the information is there for those who seek it.

The Jensen 541S went remarkably overlooked by many auto enthusiasts. This is largely because there were not all that many of their products. He failed to gain the greatest reputation, or if that does not mean that this machine is not worth some recognition. The first year production of this car was the year 1960. It 'was produced for only three years, which makes this car relatively rare and not so easy to find. Because of this, there is a significant value for one that is in good shape. Since it is a car English, can be even more difficult to find outside of Europe. North American collectors will have their work cut out for them.

Only 127 of these cars were produced. They were all hand built by the Jensen brothers. They had initially wanted to use the V8 engine from Chrysler for these cars, but at that time were not able to. There were supply problems that led to having to use a different engine, however. Most of the cars produced in this period had a manual gearbox in them. However, the 541S Jensen had a change Hydromatic instead was a relatively new feature. An interesting feature is that these cars were equipped with seat belts. They were the first of their time to do it because it was not a legal requirement, then.

Security was important for the Jensen brothers, which is why I included the seat belts. Soft padding has been included around the dashboard and door panels. The Jensen 541S was also the first car to have disc brakes. These cars won the silver medal for the technical work, which is an impressive achievement. For a car that was not so popular at the time, is now winning many top awards that are available for classic cars.

This classic car is also very luxurious. The interior is incredibly beautiful when well maintained. There is plenty of space inside the car, including ample leg space and head room. The maintenance of the interior is particularly important. Since these cars are rare, their proper maintenance is essential to maintaining their value. The Jensen 541S has a unique look that is so similar to the Jaguar soon. It can be a nice car in appearance, when well maintained. These cars were fast, elegant and rare. What more could a collector want in a classic car?...
